Did you know 70% of pollution in our surface water is carried there by storm water runoff?

Spending a few minutes cleaning up our streets, sidewalks, and greenspaces will have a BIG impact on the health and beauty of our community. If everyone in Indianapolis does one small thing, picks up one piece of litter every day, together we can create a cleaner and greener city

If you’re on the educational side of things, we’ve got a way for you to get involved too!

School teachers and administrators! We need your help to engage students in the It’s My City Initiative! We want to be sure to include Marion County K-12 students in this city-wide effort to make Indianapolis Clean, Green, and Beautiful. Please use the chalk set to allow your students to create meaningful chalk art around your school about the importance of cleaning the city. Be sure to send chalk art pictures to @itsmycityindy or ahaynes@ and use #itsmycity for social media.
