For the 2017 It’s My City PSA Contest, students in grades K–12 are invited to create a 30- to 60-second Public Service Announcement (PSA) to help prevent litter in Indianapolis. The Grand Prize winner receives $1,000 for their school, Pacers tickets, Colts tickets and their commercial aired on FOX59. The two runners-up each will receive $1,000 for their school.

The contest is open to groups of students, classes, school clubs and schools in Marion County, Indiana. To enter, students must submit a 30 to 60-second television public service announcement (PSA) that highlights the importance of being a good citizen who keeps Indianapolis litter-free.

Submissions will be evaluated based on originality of messaging, technical sophistication, pacing and overall impact. Feel free to work as a whole school, grade level, classroom or in groups. Get creative, show off your skills and most importantly – have fun!

Entries will be accepted September 28 - October 27, 2017. Public voting for the grand prize PSA will occur November 3 - 9.

Be sure to read the rules and regulations carefully before applying.

Winners will be notified in November and announced publicly via press release on November 13, 2017. The winning PSA will also be broadcast on local tv.
