It's My City on Indy Do Day

What is the It's My City Chalk Project?

It's a city-wide civic initiative designed to EVERYONE a chance to make a visible difference in Indianapolis by  raising awareness of the necessity of living in a clean, green, and beautiful city through art.

THE PROJECTS

#ItsMyCity By a Long Chalk: It's My City is teaming up with Lilly, KIB, local artists, volunteers and more to pick up litter and create a 36-mile long PSA on trails, sidewalks, parks, and greenways throughout the city.

#ItsMyCity Indy Day Day Cleanup: 15 minutes is all it took to clean an area with a friend.

Schools: Chalk It Up

We have something for kiddos of all ages! Civic engagement starts at a young age. Encourage your child's school to join us in promoting environmental activism to engage with our young people.

#ItsMyCity Chalk the Cultural Trail

This is a Guinness World Record attempt by Lilly employees to create the largest display of chalk pavement art to promote a cleaner city (what a mouthful!). Follow along on social media as they attempt to knock the current record out of the park!
